The National Steering Committee for the Reauthorization of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (NSC) was established in 1999. The representatives on the NSC represent Tribes from each Area of the IHS and the NIHB, the Direct Service Tribes (DST) and the Tribal Self Governance Advisory Committee (TSGAC).
