Meth and Suicide Prevention E-Newsletter

The Methamphetamine and Suicide Prevention E-Newsletter is produced by the National Indian Health Board and made possible through funding from the Indian Health Service for the Methamphetamine Suicide Prevention Initiative (MSPI) – a national pilot demonstration project focused on addressing two of the most pressing public health concerns in American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities - methamphetamine use and suicide.

The newsletter contains timely information on methamphetamine use and suicide and highlights the work being doing in AI/AN communities to address both issues. As part of this focus, the newsletter looks at evidence-based practice, practice-based evidence, and best and promising practices. Other topics covered include program marketing, implementation, and administration.

The National Indian Health Board’s MSPI partners include: the Indian Health Service, JBS International and the National Council on Urban Indian Health.
