NIHB’s 2012 National Tribal Public Health Summit was a success! The Summit was held in Tulsa, OK on May 30- June 1, 2012. Cathy Abramson (pictured here) addresses the Plenary and opens the conference.

Cathy Abramson, NIHB Board Chairperson and Bemidji Area Representative presented at the National Indian Health Outreach & Education (NIHOE) health reform training that was held at Prior Lake, MN on April 18-19, 2012.
Nearly 200 attendees met to learn more about the new health reform’s impact in tribal communities and to plan outreach and education efforts in their areas.
