NIHB Provides ACA Training and Technical Assistance

As the leading Indian organization on tribal health care, the National Indian Health Board’s Tribal Health Care Reform Team provides training and technical assistance to Tribes on the American Indian and Alaska Native benefits in the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  Training topics include, but are not limited to, ACA Overview and Updates, Health Insurance Marketplace Basics, Understanding Health Insurance, Medicaid Expansion and CHIP, AI/AN Exemption Waiver, Tribal Premium Sponsorship, Marketplace Enrollment Strategies, ACA Messaging and Media Outreach, and Direct Service Tribe-Specific training.
