Introduction

The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) proudly celebrates National Native American Heritage Month in November by celebrating the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and acknowledging the important contributions of Native people.

This National Native American Heritage Month, NIHB raises awareness about the unique health challenges Native people have faced both historically, and currently, and the ways in which Tribes are working to conquer these challenges through advance appropriations advocacy.

NIHB will be sharing health events, media, and Acts of Love to honor Native people, communities, and culture.
