Alec Calac will be one of CNAH’s featured guest speakers for Native American Heritage Month. Alec is a medical student at UC San Diego and is a member of the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians. Alec will present, on Zoom, about the physician shortages in Indian Country and will propose how the University Land Grant System can help build the next generation of American Indian and Alaska Native physicians.
